Pulao – Aromatic Rice Soaked in a Savory Stew

Our clients love to eat our Mutton Pulao that is prepared with a lot of love and care. This dish can be cooked with different recipes, but we cook it by following a traditional method of our grandmother. We use mutton, rice, onions, ginger and garlic paste, oil, kewarrah, saffron, salt, black cumin seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon, yogurt, and black pepper.

First of all, we boil the mutton in a large pan by adding water, salt, and ginger and garlic paste in it. When mutton is half cooked, we turn off the flame. In another pan, we add oil and include ginger garlic paste, whole spices, and salt, yogurt, and fry onions until they turn into light brown. We add rice without water and mutton and cook them at a high flame for 5 to 10 minutes. When both things are properly cooked, we serve it with Raita.
