Pulao – Aromatic Rice Soaked in a Savory Stew

Chicken Pulao is an Asian dish, consisting of rice packed with spices and cooked in stock.  We use turmeric, cumin seed powder, coriander powder, garlic and ginger paste, black pepper, cardamom,  red chilies, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves, rice, yogurt, onions, oil, almonds, and chicken for making it.

First of all, we warm up the oil and fry the onions until they turn into golden brown. We add all the whole spices and fry them for a few minutes and then add powdered spices. We add ginger garlic paste and chicken as well. We put the beaten yogurt and cook chicken until the water dries. We add soaked rice with hot water and salt to taste. We cook it on a low flameuntil the rice is prepared. When rice is nicely cooked, we serve this yummy and tasty dish along with Raita to our customers who visit our restaurant.
